Transit Services
We offer transit transport services to businesses supplying and importing cars to Russia. Transit shipments are handled at our Hanko, Turku and Kotka terminals in Finland. Our extensive terminal network, combined with other services, guarantees our customers the widest range of services in the field.Our transit transport services are:
- Receipt and inspection of cars
- Warehousing of cars
- Delivery of cars to destination terminals
- Transit traffic documents
- Transit traffic related IT services and reports
The cars are received at a transit port, where we also conduct an inspection. We record any damage and complete a report on these before transferring the cars to the car compound. The cars are stored in safe compounds that meet the quality requirements of manufacturers: the areas are fenced and electronically guarded, and the compounds are supervised by personnel round the clock.
We deliver the cars onwards either as our own transports or by using the customer’s own road or rail carriers. Our transport equipment includes purpose-built car carriers and wagons.
We take care of all necessary documents at the reception and delivery stage: customs declarations, stock accounting, waybills and TIR Carnet documents. The services are supplemented by our tailor-made, customer-specific IT services.
